“It is easy in the world to live after the world’s opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Airplane pilot. Truck driver. Horse rider. How do you navigate through life? Are you captaining your ship or are you the passenger on someone else’s vehicle? It isn’t easy to dance to the beat of your own drum, take the reins and go where your heart leads you, but it promises to be the most rewarding course. In the words of Joseph Campbell, “Follow your bliss. If you do follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living.”

Do you follow the prescribed path OR are you the scribe of your own journey?
