Did you ever notice that when something upsets you — and you focus on it — that you get more upset? It is like a snowball rolling down a hill. But if you shift your attention and try to look at the situation differently, you can change both your mindset and your mood. While the nature of the mind is to think, we have the ability to refocus, reframe, and redirect our thoughts.
