“If I had to limit my advice on healthier living to just one tip, it would be simply to learn how to breathe correctly.” – Andrew Weil

We don’t often think about our breathing. Like blinking, our in-and-out breaths occur without volition. But did you know that you can affect your emotional state by changing your breathing? Slow, deep breathing is calming to the nervous system. So, if you are stressed and your breathing is shallow, simply take a moment to slowly and gently inhale deeply and slowly and gently exhale fully.

Do you take short, shallow breaths OR do you take the time to breathe deeply and slowly?
